SIEMAG TECBERG Polska Sp. z o.o. is responsible for the delivery and commissioning of the mine shaft hoist for the Janina shaft VI of Tauron Wydobycie S.A. The most important part of this hoisting system is one of the most modern winders in Poland, equipped with a low speed synchronous AC motor powered by an intermediate frequency converter.
The cage for transporting crew and materials is also unusual due to its dimensions. It is a four-levels large-scale cage with dimensions: 6,795 m x 1,95 m x 13,3 m. Due to the dimensions, the cage was transported under the rules applicable to special transports on the basis of special permits issued by KDDiA.
